We have a 74 Cat D4D that when we start to push with it or turn hard left the right clutch starts to slip. We are wanting to know if there are any adjustments for the clutch . We have made all of the adjustments for the leavers, however this will do nothing for the slipping of clutches. If we need to replace the clutches are the rebuild able types like on the old Massy Harris that I grew up working on or are they only come as a hold assy. If we have the unit apart what do you feel about replacing the brakes also. Are any of these parts made after MKT or only Cat’s and if after MKT where? We just order a shop manual however it will not be here for near 7 days, and we have a few friends (as of now) coming over for the weekend and if we need to break the unit down I will draft them into helping (then they may not be so friendly).

Thanks
Allan
