Slow to go

My Case 450 crawler loader is slow to get moving after you start it. It will start and run fine but you have to wait a long long time to build up enough pressure for the thing to move. I'm going to take the charging line hose off to see if there is any junk in any of the openings that might be restricting flow. Any other ideas?

I have an International TD-15C that did this same thing for a long time. It was the suction hose, it wasn't noticeably leaking at first, but it got worse. A new hose cured the problem.

I don't know how similar they are, but I just had the same problem with my 350 crawler. it was about a 1-1/2 quarts low on fluid. but this wouldn't help if you've already checked the level I guess. good luck.

The fluids are at the right levels and once it builds up enough the pressure the pressure gauge jumps right up. One other gauge is busted so i'm not sure what it's supposed to read when the machine is first started. I bought it all beat up from a contractor and this summer I want to put in some wrench time on it and get it to at least a decent condition.
