I have a 1976 JD350B Wide track with a 6 way blade. If you stand behind the machiene and look at the right rear area where the axle comes out of the final drive it looks as if the axle is tilted or cocked slightly up. The left side looks even. At first I thought it might be a bering but believe that there is no bearing in that area. does anyone know if the wide track is made that way perhaps to float with ground level or is there something else to check.
Thanks,
Glen In PA

Look at back side of final drive case on right side where the sproket axle end be there should be a cap & bearing there & yes there should be a bearing on axle behind sproket

Thanks,
The machiene is at the John Deere dealer but they are not familiar with the wide track model machiene. I"ll give this info to them on Monday. Will let you know what I find.
Thanks again,
Glen
