Two questions, looking for information on which JD Deisel Crawler's had a starter motor, and For a SeaBee buddy, pics or info on 2 cylinder JD used to clean holds on naval ships. (rubber tracks).

Mike is correct, none of the Deere crawlers used a pony engine.
Rubber track pads were an option on all of the two cylinder crawlers as well as later models. If you know what year your friend is talking about, might be able to guess closer.

As far as I know, none of the JD crawlers had the pup motors, just the big 2 cylinder diesel tractors, I think. The rubber padded crawler your talkin about is a BO lindeman I think..
