You had mentioned in an earlier post about roller seals for the HD3 being available again from AGCO. My question is about the idler seals. Are they the same part # as the bottom rollers? If so, do you know the AGCO part # for them? My tractor is pre-8298 (serial #), so it calls for the single piece bellows seal. After 8298, they are set up a little different, but my book says they will still work in place of the old bellows seals. My AGCO dealer is just getting set up, and have to fax back and forth to the main office to try to find parts (computers are WONDERFUL!!!!).

Thanks,
Dale(MO)

I don't know exactly which seals they have, but they told me they have all the roller parts available new except the roller shells. They also have new complete OEM rollers, but they are a different design than the original. The replacements are the HD rollers that came on the 650 series, but retrofit to the H4/HD4, H3/HD3. Best thing is call them yourself - it's Marshals Machinery in PA. 570-729-7117 and ask for their "new parts" department.

Thanks. I have the old-style bellows-type oil seals (pre-8298 serial #), but the newer style are supposed to be a direct replacement. My local AGCO dealer is supposed to get me a little more info as to what they say they can get, and some good break-downs of them, so I guess I'll see what they can do. Again, thanks for the help. Very nice to have you and your vast knowledge at my fingertips. I wish I knew as much about this old stuff as you - I could probably be doing lots of free wrench-turning.LOL
