I JUST BOUGHT THIS INTERNATIONAL 500 LOADER DOZER WITH A DROTT 4 IN 1 BUCKET ITS A 4 CLY DIESEL Has 3speed's forward and 3reverse,hydro drive (no CLUTCH) just put in one of 3gear's move lever foward or back for reverse. will not steer on left side HE SAID HE WAS DRIVING THE DOZER AND THE LEVER FELT FUNNY AND THEN HE NOTICE IT WOULDNT TURN LEFT. He thinks a pin or something fell out in case, DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT TO YOU, OR CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR, AND CAN SOMEONE TELL WHAT SERIES IS AND THE YEAR IT WAS MADE.

If you remove the seat, down next to the seat there is a cover on each side. It has 8 or so bolts in it. Remove this cover and look down inside with a "light on a stick" and you can see the bottom. It is just a compartment that holds the cluch and brake assy. The pin has a hex sleve on one end and a threaded rod on the other. It will have a ball on each end to fit into the linkage. You'll need a good "magnet on a stick" to fish it out. You do not need to remove anything major if you are patient and a little lucky fishing around. I tie a string to the pin on mine when I remove it for adjustment so if I do drop it, (and have)I can pull it right back out. This pin releases the cluch before the brake engauges. Good luck "fishing".

There is a pin that releases the cluch before the brake band tightens. If the adjustment was to loose, it is possible that the pin fell into the bottom of the case. I have dropped the pin when I was adjusting mine and had to "fish" it out. It is no longer available new.
