350 C engine

Could anyone tell me where the 2 longer main cap bolts go in a 350C des. engine. I suspect the are for some mounting that im not to yet because im waiting for gaskets, but i would like to get everthing else tourqued up. thanks

It doesn't indicate any difference in my book.Do you have a repair manual?

I've got this bad habit of keeping parts in order when I disassemble anything..I've never noticed if any bolts are longer than others either..I'm with jdemaris, the only main cap thats different is rear main. I wonder if this engine was taken apart before and bolts changed on one main...Look down the main bolt bores to see if one set of the bores has a deeper bore than others...

I don't recall anything attaching to any of the main-cap bolts on that engine - but maybe my mind is going. The rear main-cap is different from all the others and holds the thrust bearing. So, it seems if one set of bolts is different from the others, it would be for that rear thrust cap.
