If you leave the belt connected it wont drain the battery... but you can't enable the hydraulics and brake release unless the seat switch and belt switch is cycled each time the engine is started or the seat switch interupted.. I'm not sure what your question is, but why would u want to disable it anyway?? I'm sure youre the worlds best operator and your machine would never flip over...and if by some odd twist of fate it did flip, you would have the forethought to leap clear of it... ask the hundreds of people who are now puffing into a blow-tube to operate a wheel chair if they still think that way about their machine operating skills... thats the ones that werent killed... they can't answer...If people accepted responsibility for their own stupid actions, instead of blaming and suing corporations for their own ineptitude, then I guess you'll have to just buckle that belt... but thats a whole 'nother subject...

Dealer can't unhook it because of liability concerns. The way the tractors are wired now,you can't jump it either, because it causes a draw and kills the battery while the tractor is off.Thank a lawyer!
