A friend of mine has a D6 with a bad pony motor. Does someone make a kit to convert to direct electric start? This will be used very little..always in warm weather. Thanks

I have converted a D6 over to direct electric. I found a company that makes a kit. The company is C.C. Battery out of Texas. I do not have their number but they do have a website. When I did mine they were very helpful. If you call them make sure you have the serial number.

Yes and you may be able to buy off the shelf parts to do it too.
