My boom wont come back all the way to catch in the transport cradle although it comes within a couple of inches. Can that be adjusted with the linkage under the rear control panel? (It is a 3 stick control system.)

Thanks for your replies. I've previously tried both suggestions and even tried running the engine full throttle without luck. When the boom rocks just almost to center all I get is fluid bypass in my boom control valve. I also noticed tonight that the cylinders are completely retracted just before the boom comes to center. Normal?

You have to speed up the engine some and pull the boom lever completely, you need the inertia of the boom to get it to latch,it will not power itself overcenter.

And when you reach the end of it's travel up use the inertia to keep it coming as you push the lever to boom down. You have to practice this to get the boom over center the last little bit and catch the boom lock.
