The original cessna pump and rebuild kit have been superceded. I don"t want to shell out $500-$600 for the pump Komatsu says will replace the old one, because I"m cheap and intend to remain so. Any ideas on how to work around this? Also, the internal filter ass"y is missing. Probably some hot shot, shade tree mechanic figured he could get more pressure without rebuilding the pump is my guess. If you have one laying around, would you let me know? Thanks for any help or sympathy you send this way,
Jim

I don't know if the same pump was used in the ag tractors, but if so, you might get the rebuild kit from Case instead of Komatsu. The numbers I posted earlier should still work. Sometimes I have also found dealers with these older items on their shelves. Might be worth calling around.
When you say "internal filter" I assume you mean the one on the lower right side of the case, opposite the pump. Should be an easy junkyard item from any old TD340. By the way, are you sure the pump is your problem, not the relief valve or something else?

Thanks for the help. I set the relief valve according to the shop manual. Just couldn't get more than 400 PSI out of the pump.
