Are the older like early 70ish maybe late 60"s Case 580 construction king backhoes gas or diesel? I could see that it is 4 cylinders.

I have a 1974 Case 580B that I am in the process of restoring. Yes there is some differences in the paint schemes and there were even different shades of the construction yellow case used on these older tractors. Look for the engine block serial# on the right lower side of the block under the starter, the transmission serial# under the front right floor plate in the cab and the tractor serial# on the right side of the dash under the steering wheel. Contact your case dealer for any further inquiries. Good luck!

Are both gas and diesel motors 4 cylinders? What is the approx. year if has red wheels, dish style fenders, black decals on loader? Is there somewhere I can figure out all the specs on it?

These guys would be better able to help you if you provide them with serial numbers. Look on the engine for a stamped serial number. Also there might be numbers on the transmission housing underneath. Going by paint colour is not a good idea. Good luck bud!
