What hydraulic pump Manufacturer did JCB use on about 1987 JCB's.

I am trying to rebuild my pump now and am told that parts are not available.

The pump part number is 919/27100 looks superceeded to 919/72400. It's a dual gear pump with two separate pumps driven off one shaft with a splined connection on the main P1 pump shaft to the second P2 pump shaft.

I need wear plates, bearings and wear plate seals. the wear plate seals have broken down and the wear plate hole for the shaft is enlarged due to a worn shaft bearing

I want to contact the manufacturer directly. If I get the potential manufacturers names, I'll do the homework from there.

JCB dealer wanted $1500 for the rubber wear plate seals and the bearings (bizarre expense) and then I'm told the kit is not available.

Thanks

Mike

Have a look at Ebay item no. 7613222430 (not mine I may add!)

It does say

'This pump replaces all Hamworthy and David Brown twin pumps fitted to grey cab JCB 3CX machines'
