I am installing a deck plate in my 2010 dozer. JD says use soap on liner o-rings. Any suggestions I want to do it right the first time.

The liquid squirt kind works good, just put the orings on the liners and in the grooves in the block whichever the case may be for the engine you are working on and rub a small amount on them to act as lubrication, after sleeves are installed wipe off excess.I use shorter bolts in the head bolt holes and washers to help press the sleeves in and to hold them in temporarily while working on the bottom end of the engine.
