Hey CH, where did you find a cross for the CAT numbers? I just responded to this post on another board and told the guy I've never seen one. I would like to find one if it's out there though as it would make my life simpler and jobs alot cheaper if I had one. Anything that prevents me having to pull a machine all the way down to get the numbers first or measure everything to get the numbers would be a great help. I'd appreciate any leads you can thow my way. Nota55Nomad@AOL.com.
Thanks, Wayne

Thanks guys. I've seen the bearing interchange books and have one of the old ones. It's called The Bearing Bible, and it's from from Interchange International I believe it is. Anyway, there's nothing in it for the CAT numbers. I'll have to get back to their site and check into getting an updated set. I know the newest version is high priced but you can get one just a couple of years old for a decent price. For the stuff we deal with that ought to be good. Thanks again.

Wayne I got mine at a auction with some other bearing books and a 4 foot square pallet of bearing But this one is a car quest and the others are timkin witch i didn't look in because when i saw the number i figured it was a cylindrical bearing. Last time i tried to get a interchange book they wanted over $700. for it book or CD. So i just keep workin with what i have and call George if i get in trouble!!
