I drained the oil in my clutch and found some peases of bass plates. A friend of mine told me that my clutch is supposes to POP in when you engauge it, mine don't.
He also told me thats making my clutch over heat and the bass plates are breaking?
Is there a filter on that type of clutch?
How do you adjust it, the clutch?
It's working, just pops out of gear under a load. Just have to keep my foot on the gear shifter.
Should I just leave well enough alone or adjust it Or tear it down need some advice.

Thanks

You may have a serious problem in the clutch but first I would take off the inspection cover and roll it over untill you find the locking devise, likely a nut and plate but not sure. It will lock the spider(piece with the links on it) to the rest of the clutch. Slack it off and turn the spider untill it takes about 30 Lb of force to snap the clutch in and then lock it up. As for the trans coming out of gear, the interlock(piece linked to the clutch lever, back on the trans shifter) is not adjusted right or linkage fallen off. I will allow the shifter rails to move only when the clutch is disengaged and lock the rails when the clutch is engaged. Try that and come on back.
