cat powershift linkage worn-no neutral?

my Cat powershift linkage(977)is worn to the point that the neutral position doesn't really exist,just has forward 1,2,3 and reverse 1,2,3..The trans does have a neutral position,(yes it does work)but the linkage doesn't seem to want to allow it to stay there..is there a specific linkage bar that needs adj from anyones knowledge? any help appreciated

Dave your likage is just badly worn out. Take off the floor plates and remove the shift lever. Change the bushing in it aswell as the spacer and bolt. This will eliminate most of the problem but any of the rod ends having wear should be changed too. Then you will have N123 again.
