I am working on a Case 750 crawler loader with the 267 diesel engine. The engine is locked up. Will the engine separate from the drive coupling at the flywheel, will the converter pull out, or are there bolts that need to be removed first. Thus, freeing the engine first, to get the bolts removed.

Jason, Pull the engine and converter as a unit ,then separate then. There are 16 -3/8 th cap screws that hold the flex plates to the flywheel, the only access to them is thru the inspection hole in the flywheel housing and the crank must rotate
to get to all of them . If the pistons are stuck in the cylinders, you may have to turn the whole assembly up side down
and remove the piston and sleeve as an assembly.
If the crank is seized rather than the cylinders,
loosen caps until you can rotate the crank. Questions , send me an email.
