Does anyone know how many broken fibre drive teeth on a steering clutch pack friction disc group is acceptable per disc for a D-3B non-oil cooled set-up?New Cat disks are too expensive to buy!

Also, has anyone used any of the aftermarket fibre discs and steel plates on there machines?

Thanks Den

Thanks for your reply,I bought aftermarket frictions discs and steel plates. However, I believe I have been shipped the wrong steel plates because they do not have a tapered lug to fit the taper in the drive drum, they are instead a square lug with contact only at the corners of the lugs to the drive drum.

These plates can't be right, what do you think?
Thanks, Den in BC

I had posted a while back looking for a fan for a D8. You replied that you had a couple. Saw the fellow who owns the D8 the other day and he informed me he aquired one. So, thanks for your help. John
