Ran my JD450 crawler for about 45 minutes yesterday, then noticed transmission pressure was in the red (low). Machine ran fine forward and reverse, did not slip, overheat, etc. Shut it down as soon as I noticed no trans pressure, the gauge did not move up/down or sideways. Don't know if pressure was there at startup or not. Will check the gauge and line first, but what is the next step? I have a tech manual for this machine, but so far it is not much help. Thanks

read the arcives on checking trans pressure, lots of good info. You have to use a seperate guage connected directly to transmission.
