Hi,I"m in the process of replacing the pinion shaft bearings on my Deere old 450,the numbers on the cups are all worn off.Deere has the bearings in stock but I"m wanting to check other places and maybe save a little cash.So I was wondering if anyone might possibly have the bearing and seal #s that I could cross over. Thanks

just take both the bearing and seal to a good bearing house and they should be able to measure them and come up with a fit.
I just bought a 450 parts machine and it apparently had a pinion bearing go out. You should see the ring and pinion plus the gears in the transmission. Ive never seen as much damage done to one. I think the trans filter screen must have been loose also because the pump looks like it sucked in metal and destroyed it to.

Hi,my pinion gear and bull gear got ate up a little also when the roller bearings fell down in there,I must have caught it just in time,no broken teeth just a few nicks.I took the cups out and measured them and am in the process of getting new ones from a local shop. Thanks for the replys
