case 450 injection pump

i just picked up an old 450 loader with a ripper it doesnt run theres no fuel coming out of the inj pump theres fuel getting to it and i cleand the filter in the pump fitting it was real dirty but still nothing is making out of any inj lines any suggestions or is it time for a new pump also the serial is 4178320 anyone know what year it is thanks Bill

Where the fuel line goes into the pump, there's a bigger fitting there... Take it off and there's a screen behind it. That may be plugged....

At least there's one on my 450..

What pump is used on that model,if it"s a stanadyne/roosa master distributor type then the delivery valve might be stuck.You could pour some injector cleaner in it and let soak for a while and it might break it loose.Also check the shut off solonoid for proper operation.If the lines were left open it could have also gotten stoped up by some kind of insect building a nest.

yes i bled it and the shutoff and return are open the pump is getting good fuel and its going in but theres not a single drop coming out of the outlets mind you this pump has been dry for about 6 months the supply line was disconnected and it was empty thanks
