Putting the engine and shuttle shift assembly back in my "73 Case 350 track loader soon. My converter pressure guage is busted, and the converter temp gauge never seemed to move much. I was wondering if I could just use an automotive pressure and temp guage in place of these. I am guessing that they are quite pricey from Case. I was thinking of a Trans Temp gauge that measured from 140 - 280. Would that work? and what kind of Converter pressure are we talking about?
One other question was do the 350"s have a suction screen that can get clogged? I had problems with the machine not wanting to push hard when it got hot. Would like to check as much out as possible while everything is apart.

Thanks,

Jon
