I am trying to rebuild most of the hydraulic cylinders on this machine. I am down to the swing cylinders and they are giving me problems. I have all the bolts out of the caps that the cylinders pivot on, but I can't get the caps off. I have heated the metal around the caps and ran in the two bolts that should pull the cap off with no luck. Any suggestions with that one. I have one more question. There is a hydraulic cylinder on the right side of the machine at the back of the loader arm that is 21 inches long center of pin to center of pin. The barrel of the cylinder is 16 inches long and 3 inches in diameter. The bottom of this cylinder is held to the machine with a snap ring. The top pin that goes through the back of the loader arm has a 3/8 diameter pin of some sort going through loader and pin holding in in place. This pin is recessed and I have used a punch and small sledge on it and it sounds pretty solid. Is this pin threaded and the head has broken off or will a little heat and more sledge work knock out this pin? Any suggestions on these two problems would be appreciated. Thanks
