Trying to find a hyd filter for a T340 with T/A, no dozer or loader. Local dealer says they are obsolete, does the aftermarket make one?
Thanks,
Lavoy

I have a t340 w/ drott 4in1, Filter is out on table and number is 388084R93 is almost like an air cleaner about 8 inches long oval w metal cover on both sides. Also has a removable round screen over the opening that is seperate from filter. Why different from above?

The one I have does not have the other opening, just the one. Now have the filter you have, but there is a unit they call a "bypass" in the other hole.

The following filters are the ones I use and that cross over to the IH number, which is 375085R91: NAPA 1139 or WIX 51139. This kit includes two gaskets and the two donut type paper filters. You do need the metal cage assembly, IH number 374990R91. I assume you know where this filter unit should be located, which is opposite where the pump is.

That filetr is the same filter that is used on a international or farmall farm tractor from the 340 -560and several others ,now threre was a newer style that was used on the later ones that replaced the earlie filteres that had a sorta metal cage and two donut paper filters . the new vershion is a paper filter that has the same shape but requiers a metal face plate with a spring clip and a bypass.

Finally talked to a dealer today that said about the same thing. The filter number is the sameas I had been given before, but there was another number for the bypass assembly which he said goes in the other hole in the filter.
Thanks for all the help guys.

You'd be surprised what NAPA filter catalog has in it..There are listings by size , cross-overs , and replacement spin-on filter housings and filters..I've used many filter housings for various different applications..

Roy,
Thanks, I am going to try that tomorrow. I tried their online catalog, and it did not list anything, but who knows.
