I rode over to see what the had at the Kissimmee auctiom (Spartanburg, SC) sale that is tomorrow. They had the smallest crawler I ever saw, not counting the Struck type. It was a Komatsu D10S Crawler Loader, even had a backhoe on it. The 20 & 21 are common here, but I never had seen the little 10... They sure do have a yard full of machinery to sell... I never saw it so full..

I once worked at a now defunct Deere dealer that bought a lot of " Southern Belles " from Kissimi.Sometimes you get a peach , sometimes you get the pit..I remember bringing back a Cat 943 and a JD 992 excavator bucket on the carry-all..Both looked new , Cat was good but the bucket had issues..When I got back to the main store , I unloaded the Cat loader , got an 892 excavator to unload the bucket..When the bucket cleared the carry-all deck , there was some pink and green junk on the deck....Someone had bondo'ed the back and bottom of the bucket..Smoothed out the bucket and built up wear strips out of bondo..I could have sworn it was new. It had new teeth and side cutters...Good thing I didn't do the bidding for this ..... I think I remember Komatsu made a ride on track hoe. You stand on a platform on the rear of the machine...Maybe the model number is 05 or 03...

I hear you better watch out for the "paint fairy" over there. They catch our eye with a new coat of paint, but it only covers up all of the wear and abuse.
Many places like that know the "paint them up" tricks still work, even though many of us know better.

Seen somewhere Komatsu walk behind garden tractors, there is some nice gear at that auction but I was unable to find the little Komatsu but found another that might be ex military.
