Grandpa had 2 of them he used when he was drilling on leases in the 30s and 40s. He said they were Fordson conversions. He always said if he ran them on casing head gas they would just about climb a tree.

Neat pix, thanks. SOme neat rigs there and beautiful pix of the lake and sky. That Model T crawler looks pretty far gone to restore, I'll bet it was a neat rig in its day.

I believe it was such a machine that gave Jean-Luc Bombardier the inspiration to invent the modern snowmobile.
