Bought this unit a few months ago, and the hydraulics were very slow. Haven't had much time to work on it. Started this past weekend, changing all the fluids, filters, etc. Went to check/ clean trany sump screen, and it won't come out more than 2-3 inches. It was covered in dark brown goow. Acts like it is hanging up on something inside. Worked on trying to get that screen out for 45 minutes, but no can do.
If I really force it, and the screen tears, I'm worried it will tear the rear steel rings off and those will be stuck inside the trany. Any help, tricks or suggestions ?

I'm not familiar with that machine so i'm just throwing this out there but would it be too much to remove the sump assembly and clean the whole thing? That way if gunk falls inside you can clean it out. Also it might worth checking out if the screen is that clogged. Like I said I'm not familiar with your machine nor am I a mechanic, just throwing that out there. Good Luck!!
