I have changed the filters and the fuel injection pump and still have the problem. The problem is only when you crowd in the engine lugs down all other movement is fine.

you're probably going to roll your eyes and say to yourself . "I've checked that"... but ... does this do it while the arm is moving in ? or when it bottoms out... raise the boom all the way and hold it ... does the engine slowly pull down ?? same with the bucket ... hold and see if the engine pulls down more than the 100 or so rpm that is normal.. there are several things that can go wrong with those machines... theres an angle sensor on the pump that can have a slight "linkage problem".. a "Differential pressure " solenoid on the control valve that can cause trouble.. 2 pump displacement solenoids on the pump that if they leak slightly internally cause some odd operation-- one turns the pump "on and one "off" and they are constantly cycling back and forth.. so that clicking and pulsing of the pressure hose is normal...and all those parts are expensive-- There is a small test harness that can be used (available thru Deere parts) to test/adjust most of those items with a digital volt meter.. with that and a tech. manual it still isnt cut and dry many times. but try and see if it acts up as described above.. and we'll try and get to the root of the problem..and one more time... back to the fuel... are there any foamy bubbles in the fuel filter when it bogs down ?? might need to post someone there when it happens.. I've seen "punky" suction lines from tank to pump as well as a fuel filter clip that wasnt strong enough be the cause of air introduction into the fuel supply.. and only be evident when under a load...

alot of times a fuel filter that is beginning to "clog" shows up when multi-functioning as this is when the engine is using the most fuel.. I'd start there and replace the fuel filter. There are displacement solenoids on the pump that can cause trouble but they show up as a problem with any function..drain the sump in the fuel tank also... see what comes out..
