I have a TD-20-200 the hyd seal around the input shaft of the pump is leaking, it will pop out and drain the fluid.. Is there another sael inside of the pump that may be bad ? Does anybody have a diagram of this pump ?
or know where I can find parts?
Thank You for your time...
Al

In the first part of Roy's message he has given you good advice. Now I would suggest taking the pump apart and inspecting the suction side of the pump. The most wear is on the suction side of the pump. Another cause of this seal leaking is too much internal pump wear. You did not say who the manufacture of the pump is nor what model it is. You may have one other solution and that is why I need to know the make and model of the pump. If that manufacture makes a hydraulic motor with the same dimension, use a front seal for a motor as they are designed to take higher pressures. Questions? J.

I've run in this on gear pumps..Either the shaft bushings are loose and allow too much oil to pass through the bushing to the "low side" suction side of the pump..There's a small port on the inside of the seal that directs leakage oil back to suction side of pump gears ..OR..There's a problem with relief valves and overpressure the seal ..These seals won't take much pressure ,pops the seal out or rolls the seal lips outward..
