I'm sure I have, course Im also sure its been 30 plus yrs ago..If mem serves they were pretty str8 fwd...cant recall if they had return springs all they way around or just one on the live end of the band..the roundness of the drum determines how much gap you need to leave, I always shot for about 1/16" or 0.125" not that its all that critical, just need to make sure they dont ride on the drum anywhere.. also if they always seem to be tighter on the top or bottom the bearings are worn, this applies to any machine...if mem serves they are tappered rollers and can be snugged up with the big nut around the shaft behind the spider....its been a while, hope Im picturing the right machine....lol Don

Ive got a 1968 serries 3 22b one of the last22s levers pull not push if I adjust eyebolt so it snaps in it wont pick dragbucket upive been fighting it till ive got my pond cleaned out bu would like to have it right its in good shape but sat 6 yr if you give me your number ill call IM in west central ind thanks for your help oh by the way IUOE 841
