michigan 55b

We have a 55b and I think it gave up the ghost. Tractor will not move and has no hydraulic funtions. When you rev the motor it wil just start to spin the jack shaft and also vibrate. Is this the converter or a broken shaft inside the converter. Where on line can you find a service manual

your problem may not be as severe as you think... I cannot say for sure on the 55 but on the bigger loaders we owned they powered the TC and Hyd by attaching a fiber gear on the flywheel... they would get fatigued and break . Call a Volvo Con dealer and ask if that machine had the same set up that is the first place I would look if it happened abdruptly
