Hi All I'm going to a sale that has a D6C listed and am looking for all the info I can get. The serial # is 10K11734. Also on the tag are numbers 3p7528 , 3n36648 , 4n7365. The farmer that had it has passed and the widow give me these numbers on the phone. It has a meter next to the pump that says 7700.Is this the hr of the machine or the pump? Can you tell from these # if it is a power shift or manual. Did this model have any inherent problem to look for.As you can see millions of questions so any info will help. Thank you to everyone that takes the time. John

The D6C is an excellent unit. Sr # 11734 would be 1975 production and have the later 3306 engine as of Sr. # 7953. It is 74" guage and power shift. Good luck with your purchase.

John. I have a D6c and it is a great machine for allmost everyone. Small enough to move but big enough to do allmost every job. It is allmost for sure a powershift. The 7700 is the hours. That is pretty low too. I can't tell you the year for sure but would say around a 72. I would think you couldn't go wrong for around upto 25000.00. I have newer bigger machines but my favorite to run is the d6c.
