Hi-

I have a JD 2010 crawler with a Model 50 backhoe attchment. Does anyone know where I could get a parts and/or service manual for the John Deere Model 50 (or 51) backhoe attachment?

I have looked on the JD website store as well as many other JD manual sources to find one with no success. Do I need to look at a manual where it is combined with a tractor/loader or did it have a stand-alone parts and service manual?

Any help is appreciated-thanks.

Based on Lavoy's response, I did a little more digging. I didn't see the Model 50 or 51 listed on the publications search on JD's technical information bookstore(techpubs.deere.com) but they did list a phone number for additional assistance.

I called it and they said that the "yellow" JD equipment manuals are handled on another JD website not directly accessible from the main one (www.jdtechinfo.com).

I went there and sure enough, they have both the parts and service manuals available. This is funny, since you can look up and order the base industrial crawler and loader on the "techpubs" site.

It just goes to show that sometimes even when you think you are looking in the right spot, you're not looking in the "right" spot. :)

Parts manual should be available from Deere, service manual is obsolete I believe.
