Hi all.
First, want to thank jdemaris for the advice on my reverser. Printed out response, read 5 times, read service manual and then went through fluids. The reverser oil was milky, assuming water as it had not been run much prior to draining. Replaced filter and all fluid (3 gallons or so).
Obviously, this brings with it another question. I am guesing I have a coolant leak between the radiator and the reverser cooler? Any advice on how to diagnose, possible in frame? Or will I have to pull radiator no matter what? I'll check fluid, I filled to top when I got the machine, then when hot some overflowed out, looks like it's staid fairly constant since, but obviously I need to revisit. Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated. After the fluid and filter change the reverser worked much much better, motor lugged down and no slipping.
Sincerely,
Joel

Thanks,
I changed all and it looks good now.

As you can see from other post, now have pressure problems, been the problem right along.

Pressure fine in reverse, presure low in forward.
I am hoping it's a accumulator housing issue and the valves inside it rather than a reverser problem.

Guy who sold it to me was not totally honest, will chase him down seperately.

Any thoughts, Froward pressure is 70 PSI and reverse is 120 psi.

Forward starts at 110 but after 5 minutes will not go above 70.
Thank you,
Joel

I wouldn't assume you've got a leak just because of milky fluid. I've found that most 350s get that way if left outside and uncovered. That's especially true if snow collects and then melts on the floor-boards. Over the years it works its way into the dipstick tube. It's also tough to get all the old fluid out. When you drain the reverser, there's always some residual oil stuck in there - even more so if it's a 350C or later (with wet steering clutches). So, very often, you drain, install new fluid - and it still looks a little milky.
