Roy Suomi -- I was looking over your past posts and you mentioned to somebody working on a 450C that if the clutch pedal adjustment free play (3 3/4") is made and the adjustment bolt raises as you turn it out the linkage is rusted stuck.
Mine does this and I just thought the return spring was broken maybe? This might be my slipping problem!!
A new clutch was installed 200 hours ago when the engine was rebuilt.
I'll be working on the machine Monday.

Anybody familiar with this problem:
WHERE does the clutch linkage usually rust up or bind and how did you free it???

Early machines had greasable throw-out bearings, not later models..Not sure of serial number break for this..

On my machine, the grease fitting is on the top of the bell housing at the front center, right by the top edge of the floor plates. Mine is a 90 degree grease fitting.
