My old pal bought a dragline and got the base home yesterday. It's an Insley or Ensley according to the trim. It has a waukesha engine in it but we can't figure out exactly which engine. The block in this one is 30 inches long. It has two side covers over the lifter area of the block. It also has a 6 digit casting number of 195???-D, (forgot the last 3), toward the rear/bottom of the distributor side of the block. I'm betting one of you experts will ID this engine. Thanks,,,,, Gary

It may not be that easy: Insley's used several Wauks, up to 1950 or so (ZKA, AKA 6ZKA), H, VBZH, VIK,, VRZG, XAH AND 4-95)...although may not even apply to yours, as they're for "road machinery", and I don't know if a dragline is consideered road or construction machinery...
Don't have anything for 50/51 to 55, but 56-58 some used Wauk 140GZB, 140GKB and 145GKB (the 56-58 are identified as "Maxi" models and crane carriers...
Have to dig out one of my Hesselman books to see if the VBZH and XAH were Wauk-Hesselman engines...
