Cold tranny works fine in L-R with H working ok untill loaded down then hear squeeling sound. Loaded H wont spin tracks.

Warm Tranny works fine in L-R with H hesitating to engage and less load power.

Hot Tranny begins L-R not engaging crisply and has hesitation. Sometimes left/right braking stalls machine. Have to shift lever a couple of times to get going again. Going to Nuetral for a second usually always gets machine going again. H does not work at all and is absent.

All help appreciated?

Put a 200 lb. gauge into the pressure port [ trans top cover between steer levers. drum bung sort of plug ]1/8" pipe plug in there..Screw in the gauge there with a flex hose from a grease gun attached to it.Brakes locked down , gear trans in neutral [ between 3rd and 4th ].half throttle run through the hlr gears..Pressure should be 170 to 185 lbs.If you don't have equal pressure in all three ranges [ within 20 lbs ] there is a problem internally with sealing rings , manifold or clutchpack seals..Try the gears with engine off , listen for the detents when you shift the hlr lever slowly. You should be able to feel and/or hear each hlr position go into detent. If you have low or no pressure in high range , you better figure on a tear-down and fix the hlr.
