AC and IH Dozers Purchase Advice

I'm looking at an old 1961 Allis 11-B dozer, a newer 1982 Fiat Allis 11-B dozer, and a 1972 IH TD 25. In reasonably average/good condition what are they worth? My guess is 4k on the AC 11-B, 12k on the Fiat 11-B, and 10k on the IH TD25? Anything to watch out for other than the standard dozer wear points?

I'm not looking for a money pit or to flush my money down the drain. I just need a dozer to occasionally use around the farm.

The first question you should ask yourself is what is the task I intend to do. The three dozers you mentioned are not in same weight class. The td25 is a large dozer that just will not work on soft ground with any degree of success UNLESS it has real wide pads . Used parts are hard to find for the a.c. because there were never as many units sold as the cat. Lots of old th 25,s sitting around in this part of the country for a lot less than you mentioned.

Thanks for the advice. I have another request.
I'm looking at a 1982 Fiat-Allis 11b for around 12k and a 1962 CAT D6-C for around 6k. The Cat runs well, is usable, but badly needs sprockets, and may need pins and bushings. The Fiat appears in slightly better conditon. Which is the better buy if any?

The 11's were both good dozers with no particular probs that I can recall, the 25's were like wise but the only one I ever ran had a cummins in it, I liked the Internationals, mostly cause I spent a good bit of time on a new TD20 in the mid 70's that was a jewel, and a pushin fool! had that V8 that wouldnt quit, but these are all good sized dozers, do you have that much work?... ask yourself if theyre gonna fit in all the places you need em?...these arent the kinda rigs you can run up on the average tri-axle equipment trailer. I dont recall any habitual probs with any of the IH's in that size range...good luck
