There is an HD-21 for sale about 100 miles from me that is needing an engine. The owner has taken the engine apart and rust has taken over. The undercarriage looks good.
Where can I find an engine, how much will it cost, and will it be worth anything when done.
I can get the dozer for around $2500.
Brian

I have two service manuals for the HD 21. One is a brown cover with a metal clamp frame spine. It says Construction Machinery Division AC on the front. It's printed in June of 1959. It has many photographs, very good instructions on repair and overhaul processes. It has 440 pages plus about 34 pages of extra sections.

The other one is a Fiat-Allis HD-21P service manual set. It's in a blue vinyl metal back cover notebook containing 7 manuals approximately 3 inches thick printed from 1965 to 1976.

I'll take $100.00 for the pair or make me an offer. I would imagine the shipping would be about $10.00 in the U.S. Hope someone can use these. Doug

There is one north of here they repowered with a 3406 Cat. Easier to find parts for and it probably came out of a junk truck.
