Hi... my father owns a tractomotive TL-12 loader, and doesn"t know where to check the transmission fluid, or what type to use for the tranny and differential... Can anyone help us? I would be interested in purchasing a manual for this machine also...

Thanks very much for any help you can provide...

Tractomotive were one of the first hydraulic loaders. They were purchased by Allis Chalmers. Dave

Roy, saw you are in Ohio, don"t know if it"s still around or how close to you, but about 4 years ago there was one sitting for sale on the north side of highway 20, about halfway between Oberlin and Elyria. If memory works, it was an Allis Chalmers machine with 3cylinder jimmy? It appeared to be complete and in reasonably good condition upon quick look. Maybe physically slightly bigger than JD350?

My TL-20 has a 1.5" plug on the drop box about 7" from the bottom and the proper level is at the plug when the machine is running. As far as info, check Ebay for books or call Crane and Tractor in Columbus, Ohio. Eb
