OC-46 steering

My OC-46 would only turn right if I yanked back all the way on the lever. Now I know why.

It is a clutch type steering unit and when I opened it up all the cam rollers from the right side were sitting in pieces on the bottom of the housing.

5 cracked roller fragments, one shaft, one nut and a few washers. THe one visible unit has no roller.

Going to be quite a job to fix so my question is is there anything I should look for as to the cause while I have this all apart.
