They made their own in Italy at the Aprilia factory. The German built machines were made at the Hanomag plant but MF owned Hanomag at the time. My former neighbor ran MF 450S excavators. He said they were one of the first really advanced machines and the Perkins engine was the best engine ever made. They made the excavators in Italy from late 67 till 78. I think the Italian machines were for the north American market. They were very modern looking for their day. Dave
