how do you get oil pan off ? do you have to take loader off? any manuals out there on tracson loaders? thanks kelley

thanks for the reply. to get the hard bar out it appears that i will need to unbolt the front bar going under radiator so i can raise front of cat to get clearance to get hard bar out??

Hello Kelley,
I see there is no response to your post so I will try and give it a go. I have 4-D4's and a substantial library of parts books and manuals but as far as I know there is not a specific repair manual for the HT4. There are specific parts manuals and operation & maintenance instructions manuals but the service manual shares the same regular D47U service manual. I don't believe you need to remove the loader to get the pan off but you will have to remove the hard bar that takes the place of the front spring to get it off. The usual method is to provide slings around the front and rear of the pan that straddle the engine so you can lower the heavy and ackward pan safely.
