Hey, Dwayne I know exactly what you are talking about! The bad news is that I don't have very much info on it either. We farm with Ford tractors and I was in my local Ford tractor place one day and saw a picture of one on an old Ford poster of the different things that Ford built over the years! This poster listed the excavator as being made from late 1977 to early 1979.That is all the info that I could find.Being a Ford equipment guru I would love to know more about this machine also! If you have or find any more info please e-mail me! The picture of the machine on the poster looked almost like some of the Poclain(not sure about the spelling)models.

Dwayne, I finally got some info on the excavator. It seems that there were five models all built by a french company. Some were Ford powered and some were Deutz powered.I posted a question on the antiuqe CAT site and got several replies.Go to this address and look under Cat owner with a non Cat question. You will need to scroll down the page to find it.
