Hi folks, I got to spend a little more time with my roller today. I wasn't exited about the findings though. I looked hard into the exhaust and it looked like mice had been in there. I decided I needed to remove the manifolds and do some cleaning before adding anything.I removed all the nuts for the manifolds no problem. So far so good right? Then I gave a good rap in the manifold to break it loose. Well that opened the floodgates!!! I think I saw some fish come flopping out. Anyway with this much water in there for who knows how long I dont think the liners will be much good. So what is parts availibillity for a D4400 and who do you guys use for parts? Ive rebuilt plenty of newer Cats but not anything this old. I know I went on a bit but I thought my folly may amuse some. Thanks Chuck

Try Regal for the liners.
Pistons, rings, valves, etc. should not be a problem to find after market. Bearings are another story, they are getting hard to find and pricey. Good luck with your shopping.
