I HAVE AN OLD 1974 TRACK LOADER AND THE RIGHT TRACK RAM COLLAPSED. ADDING MORE GREESE DOES NOT MOVE THE RAM AND CAN NOT FIND WHERE THE GREESE IS GOING. OPENING THE VALVE SHOWS GREESE GOING THROUGH THE PORT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

HI The seal number should be 4m7021 and you need too a ring 4m7022.

John, it goes back into the front recoil spring pilot behind the cylinder. If you unbolt the front plate that the idler rod is welded to and force the idler ahead and block it you should be able to change the seal on the piston. Later Bob

John, the cylinders some times get worn inside too and will hold in some spots and not in others. If the seal looks good you may need to pull out the cyl but we will get into that later if we need to.
Later Bob
