I threw a rod in my JD 450C and need a block or motor? Let me know if you know of one.

Thanks,
Bill

I have a 450b loader that is worn out except for the motor. It is turbo charged, still in the machine and runs very well. It was rebuilt by Metro tractor in Atlanta Ga. years ago. If you still have an interest in an engine like this let me know. Gary

A buddy of mine has a 4 cylinder motor from an air compressor..Runs sweet , turbo , big water pump You will need to change the rear engine plate to fit the 450-C clutch housing..And change the water pump to fit your application..His name is Mike Liddy , Geauga Rebuilders in Chardon Ohio 440-285-2340..He picked up this compressor with a bad air pump..He did nothing to it other than rewire it so he could "hotwire " it to check engine condition...Somewhere around $ 1,000.00 picked up.

Roy, I called Mike today and tried to read the model number but I think it was hard to read. Do you knwo that this will fit my dozer? I have been told that a 5219 or 4239 will fit. It sounds great if it will fit. Email me or call me at 904-742-0251 if you can. I really am interested.

Bill

Roy, I believe the motor is a 4276TF. It is a 300 series motor with a turbo. The F indicates it was not sold in a JD piece of equipment. My dozer had a 4219 in it. If it will bolt up and mate to my transmission, that would be great. Let me know what you think.

I have one here in the same shape. I found 1 on ebay.
If you decide to fix yours and need parts I"ll give you this one.
