I am having trouble with the dump clutch it dosen"t seem to work has well has it did. I try to press the clutch to the floor but it dosen"t seem to knock it out of gear.I know there is an adjustment on the shuttle, can anyone tell me how to make the adjustment? With the machine running or with it off?

Secure the machine and with the enginer stopped go under it,on the left side of the shuttle you will see where the forward reverse cable connects to the direction valve,on the end of the valve there is a 1/4 bolt with a locknut, when the dump pedal is pressed the valve is pushed in to dump the fluid, between the lever that pushes the valve and the head of the bolt there should be .010 gap, check the linkage to see its pushing the valve, that is the only adjustment that can be made on the Borg Warner shuttle, fluid level is checked with the engine running on low idle.

when i press the clutch pedal it takes the lever away from the valve letting it come out of the shuttle case is this correct? Also when i adjust the bolt all the way out the valve just keeps coming out tight to the bolt. I keep turning the bolt until it dosen"t come out any further. I must be doing something wrong or is there a problem?
