I posted awhile ago but got drawn away sorry about that! Anyway AJK if you or anyone else can help me with this problem it would be great. When I adjust the bolt away from the valve it keeps coming out of the body against the bolt. I adjust the bolt all the way out until it can"t come anymore and the valve is just tight to it!!!
Also the lever for putting it in forward and reverse seems to be alot stiffer than it was. I let go the cable from the transmission and it works free? Any help would be great. Thanks guys!

The valve has to be pushed in to disconnect the clutch, are you sure you have a Borg Warner shuttle?,as I said in the other post there should be .010" clearance between the lever that pushes it and the head of the adjusting bolt,if the adjusting bolt is screwed out against the lever you would have no drive,if you have you must have a problem inside the valve or its not a BW shuttle, go to the link below there is a parts drawing for the BW shuttle that goes in a Case,it does not show the linkage as the Case clutch valve is electric operated, you can see the spring (37) that pushes the dump plunger (36) outwards, you will also see if it looks like the shuttle you have. The JCB and Case shuttle are the same but for the operation of the dump valve,Case is electric and the JCB manual.

AJ the shuttle is the same. I guess the dump plunger #36 in the diagram is the one with the bolt head on it? It comes out through the left side of the shuttle looking at the diagram? When I adjust out the bolt the valve keeps on coming out against it. What am I doing wrong?
